Pager, a virtual care companion that provides a personalized, connected care experience throughout your healthcare journey has announced its international expansion in Latin America with Seguros SURA Colombia. This milestone marks the first international collaboration for the New York City-based digital health company that connects consumers with the experts they need to make the right healthcare decisions.

As part of Seguros SURA Colombia´s virtual healthcare model, Pager will deliver a virtual doctor into the family healthcare experience so that patients can seamlessly interact with their care team anytime, anywhere, via chat, voice and video. This improved consumer experience leads to higher engagement, smarter decisions, better outcomes and healthier lives.

Pager and Seguros SURA Colombia deployed and launched the Pager platform along with nurse triage services and medical virtual consults on December 2, 2019. As part of the agreement, Seguros SURA Colombia will embed this service within its virtual healthcare model and will roll out the service gradually to over four million members in the Colombian market to better navigate their care options and connect to virtual services.


Pager Background

Pager provides people with the right information, navigation and coordination services to access a complete set of virtual care services including triage, telemedicine, prescriptions, appointments, transportation and after-care follow-up. Pager simplifies the healthcare experience by enabling collaboration with multiple healthcare professionals into a unified group conversation through various omni-channel modalities.

Pager’s embedded SaaS technology integrates with claims and clinical data systems, in addition to third-party point solutions, to enable AI automation that delivers a personalized, seamless engagement experience. The company recently announced its nationwide availability with the opening of a new command center in Raleigh, NC to connect patients in all 50 states.
